Raghavendra hospital urologists offer high-quality, comprehensive, patient-centered urologic care for a wide variety of issues, including enlarged prostate, urologic cancers, kidney stones, and incontinence. Our patients receive personalized care and enjoy access to some of the most advanced and minimally invasive treatments available.

Our urology team is committed to providing exceptional specialty care to men, women, and children. We work closely with primary care physicians and other specialists to provide comprehensive care for our patients.

  • Kidney Stone Treatment

Kidney stones are small, hard crystals that form inside your kidneys when salts and other minerals bond together in your urine. They vary in shape and size. Some stones pass naturally through the urinary tract, while others require surgical intervention. Kidney stones can be quite painful, but they usually don’t cause permanent damage when treated appropriately.

Raghavendra Hospital offers expertise in the treatment and care of kidney stones, ranging from conservative measures to the surgical removal of the stones.

  • Urological Cancers

The cancer team at Raghavendra Hospital has some of the most advanced technologies and specialists when it comes to detecting and treating urological cancers. If there is concern of a urological cancer, your health journey will typically start with diagnostic imaging and progress to specific treatment options from there.

  • Bladder Cancer :

While bladder cancer is the fourth most common cancer in men, it is far less common in women. If diagnosed early, and treated effectively, the long-term outlook for those diagnosed with bladder cancer is excellent.

The cancer specialists at Raghavendra Hospital are trained at diagnosing and treating the various forms of bladder cancer. Our physicians are focused on primary tumor removal and eliminating the remaining cancer cells so patients can get back to feeling healthy.

  • Kidney cancer :

Kidney cancer, also referred to as renal cancer, is among the ten most common cancers found in both men and women. The cancer team at Raghavendra Hospital understand the confusion and fear of a cancer diagnosis. Our oncologists, surgeons and support staff are here to answer your questions and find the right course of treatment for you.

Some types of kidney cancers are hereditary. More commonly though, the risks for kidney cancer are smoking, obesity, and workplace exposure to toxins. Our oncologists diagnose and treat the following types of kidney cancer:

  • Renal cell carcinoma
  • Transitional cell carcinoma
  • Sarcoma

  • Prostate cancer :

Nearly one in seven men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during some point in their life. Fortunately, the survival rate is extremely high, especially in cases where prostate cancer is diagnosed early.

Preventative screening is something you should discuss with your primary care provider before scheduling. While prostate cancer can be diagnosed early, it’s not clear if the benefits of testing outweigh the risks, such as finding (and treating) cancers that may not cause any complications. Your Raghavendra Hospital primary care physician can talk through your concerns, the risks and potential benefits of a screening before you make a decision.

  • Testicular cancer :

Although the incidence of testicular cancer has been increasing in India for several decades, it is rare in comparison compared to other types of cancer. However, it is the most common cancer between the ages of 15 and 35. Fortunately, testicular cancer can usually be treated successfully, even when the cancer has spread beyond the testicle.

There are a number of treatment options, depending on the type and stage of testicular cancer, and patients may receive one or a combination of treatments.

Living with wrist and elbow pain can make everyday tasks difficult to complete and keep you from doing the activities you love. The Raghavendra Hospitals Orthopedics team understands the frustration and is committed to helping you find relief from your pain.
